Discussing Building Futures Cohort 2 and 3 as well as providing updates.

I was given an hour to talk to "Building Futures" students tonight, they look like a great group of future sheet metal workers.

The event is sponsored by the Ohio Department of Administrative Services (DAS) in conjunction with the Ohio Department of Transportation and Columbus Regional Airport Authority. Last year we were excited to expand the expo to include job seekers. This year, we are including some exciting updates to the career/recruitment portion that will assist your impact efforts with your Diversity and Inclusion Plan Recruitment Goals and Strategies.
 
This event is the state’s premier MBE and EDGE networking event, and is a great opportunity to connect your agency representatives with firms certified through the MBE, EDGE, Veteran-Friendly Business Enterprise (VBE) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) programs as well as those interested in becoming certified. Therefore, we also are sending an invitation to agency procurement personnel.
